The National Weather service just issued a Hurricane Watch for the Big Island.
This means that sustained winds of at least of 74 miles per hour are possible within the next 48 hours.
Currently, Hurricane Madeline's maximum sustained winds are at 115 miles per hour.
Unfortunately, Hurricane Lester is not far behind. And its maximum sustained winds are at 130 miles per hour.
The next few days could turn out to be scary in Hawaii. Hopefully, both hurricanes will pass without leaving behind any damage.
