The Internet Is Over
It was in the 90’s that I was so excited the first time I connected to that soda machine at Boston Tech.
Me, this kid in the Bronx, was checking how much soda was in the machine. It was amazing. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it was.
The forums were amazing back then. It was all trolls and scammers. It was a real exchange of ideas.
It was inevitable that it would be taken over by the big companies. Uncle Bill messed it up with his Internet Explorer. Microsoft could been Google or Simple, but they wanted it all.
Now, the battle is on in the zero click internet.
It’s even hard to look around anymore. It’s all here is the answer.
It’s sad. It’s not gonna get better. It’s going to get worse. A lot worse.
There was thought that AI would make the world better. But in medicine, it’s about billing. And soon the AI will push certain procedures and meds to generate more billing.
Soon the world is going to be just a few companies and the Internet is gone.
Have a question? It’s Sympile.
